Abstract

Second-generation High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) conductors have been fabricated by two high rate processes, Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), and Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD). Ten meter long tapes have been produced with performance exceeding 100 A end to end. Also, critical currents as high as 173 A have been achieved in meter-long lengths by MOCVD.
