Abstract

The new type of visual detector, scintillating fiber, has been used as an active target to search the H-dibaryon by using (K-,K+) interactions. The fiber target is readout by two set of image-intensifier tubes providing three dimensional information for production, decay and interaction of Ξ-'s. Several hundreds of visual images of stopped and inflight interactions of Ξ's are expected to be accumulated. Sensitivity for the H search as well as the feasibility to study Ξ-p, Ξ-C interactions are discussed.
