Abstract

In this paper, we research the effect of the phosphoric acid concentration on the performance of laser oped selective emitter solar cells with Ni/Cu plated contacts fabricated at Shinsung Solar Energy. Through an optimisation, the phosphoric acid concentration is observed to decrease cell efficiency, and using a concentration of 20%, an independently confirmed efficiency of 19.4% is achieved.
