Abstract
The magnetic and magneto-mechanical characteristics of a set of Co ferrite composites which were bonded with a polymer binder were presented. The ferrite powders formed with a phenol-type binder were subjected to quasi-static magnetic fields using a conventional electromagnet. Magnetic tests were performed at temperatures ranging from -20 °C and 110 °C. Results exhibited that maximum permeability could be used as a sensing parameter.
