Abstract
We have studied the room-temperature lattice dynamics in a series of 12-doped poly [2-buthoxy-5-methoxy phenylenevinylene] (PBMPV) conducting polymers by means of 30-MHz 1H NMR. The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time showed an overall tendency to decrease with increasing DC electrical conductivity. In addition, two time constants were necessary to describe the spin-lattice relaxation in the intermediate conductivity range.
