Synthesis and properties of azobenzene based fluorinated NLO chromophores

We are designed and synthesized the fluorinated azobenzene compounds with photo or thermal cross-linkable functional group for high thermal resistant and low optical loss NLO chromophores. It was prepared by azo coupling reaction, esterification and its chemical structure was characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
