Abstract

The ability to form In2O3 with various shapes is of great interest in a number of areas. In this paper, we report the nano-particles, nono-rods and nano-wires of In2O3, formed by means of co-precipitation method and thermal evaporation method. Both nano-particles and nano-rods with diameters of ∼100 nm have been synthesized by a co-precipitation method using the InCl3 and NH4OH. The nano-wires with 2 μm length and 100 nm width of In2O3 were synthesized by using the thermal evaporation technique.
