Abstract

The 15th International Conference on Control, Automation, and Systems (ICCAS 2015) was successfully held October 13?16, 2015 at BEXCO, Busan, Korea. The aim of the conference was to bring together professors, researchers, engineers, and students worldwide to present their recent works and discuss state-of-the-art technologies related to control, automation, robotics, and systems. Outstanding Paper Awards and Student Best Paper Awards were presented during the banquet program. During the conference, the Award Committee members attended the oral presentations of the ten finalist papers for the Student Best Paper Awards. Based on their evaluations and recommendations, the Award Committee selected five winners: Abhijeet Ravankar (Hokkaido University, Japan), Peyman Hosseinzadeh (Yonsei University, Korea), Ayaka Yamada (Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan), Tadashi Ogura (Soka University, Japan), and Kateryna Zinchenko (National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan).
