Abstract
The frequency-dependent conductivity of a dirty superconductor is calculated as a function of temperature by solving a kinetic equation that describes the effect of electron-phonon scattering at frequencies well below the gap frequency. The numerical solutions of the kinetic equation are compared with results based on a relaxation time approximation.
