N2 - It is necessary to find out the catalyst for high temperature water gas shift reaction of fuel processor using LPG for the requirement of various fuel and policy of authority for proton exchange membrane fuel cells fuel. Three-phase Cr-free metal oxide catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation method. The equilibrium conversion of CO was ∼ 70% at 723 K in fuel processor using LPG. The commercial catalyst generally showed good CO conversion at > 673 K and a similar CO conversion to equilibrium conversion at 723 K. in this HTS condition. However, CO conversion on commercial catalyst was still lower than equilibrium conversion of CO. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 2007 AIChE Annual Meeting (Salt Lake City, UT 11/4-9/2007).
