    Abstract

A triangular-shaped monopole antenna with a coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed is proposed. The proposed antenna uses a CPW feed to simplify the antenna structure with a single metallic level and to reduce the size of antenna. The proposed antenna has two folded monopoles to operate dual resonant modes for wireless local area networks (WLANs). The measured return loss, radiation patterns, and gains are presented.
