Two-dimensionally relocatable microfiber-coupled photonic-crystal resonator

Abstract

We propose a two-dimensionally relocatable photonic-crystal resonator formed by locating (and relocating) a curved-microfiber at a desired position on a square lattice photonic-crystal slab. The curved-microfiber provides an efficient photon extracting channel as well.
