Abstract

(Figure Presented) Let's look at a map: Significant improvements in the analysis of gene-expression data and of large data sets have led to the development of the so-called "connectivity map", an open database of profiles of small molecules (gene-expression patterns) used to clarify the connections between genes, diseases, and drugs.
